Hey Reagan- I like the idea a lot, the pills are really interesting. Having them all separate on the board, however, means they will all cast as little individual objects. So everything that elevates off the board surface creates the recessed area in the mold that you fill to make castings. If there isn't a connection between the individual pill shapes- they won't cast as a single object. You can create an elevated surface- like a platform- on top of your board that the pills attach to, so a layer of clay, cardboard or foam or another piece of wood, that acts as the matrix that holds all the little components in one singular cast relief object. Does that make sense?
